To: All businesses in Swift County From: Swift County Fair Board of Directors The Swift County Fair will be held on August 18th – 22nd, 2010, in Appleton, Minnesota. This is when, 4-H participants, open class exhibitors, and demonstrators from across the county and the surrounding area, come together for the 5 day celebration. However, putting these 5 days together is a 365 day task. It requires not only many hours of work, but also the contributions from individuals and businesses such as yours, to make the fair a huge success. One method of raising funds has been to sell 3’x 5’ banners with the business name and/or logo on it, which are displayed on the outside of the grandstand during the fair. This recognizes those businesses, which support the fair. The first year a banner is displayed is a cost of $250; the following years, it will be a cost of $150. We are a 501(c)3 organization, so all contributions are tax deductible. To those of you who have a banner already, we thank you for your past support, and ask for your continued support. If you are interested in becoming a banner sponsor, or would just like to donate toward making the fair an enjoyable time for everyone, we welcome all contributions.
